Bound in hare-skin; front cover loose. Two slips of paper pasted on outside front cover (multilated) on which the following can be read: (a) 'Catalogue No. ( )' (in pencil); (b) '17, Drom (?) Luaman II [red ink] [Ja]mes Coyle, Dungimm[on], Mountnugent, Co. Cava[n]'. Letter from S. Mac Conglinne, secretary, Gaelic League, dated 5/7/1954, confirming presentation of MS to Franciscan Library, attached inside front cover. Some loose papers inserted in MS, including: (a) 1 leaf containing fragment of 'Achtradh Chuinn' (running title) probably in an 18th cent, hand; (b) Leaf bearing in pencil 'Mr Coyle, Dungimmon N S, From Owen Cadden'; (c) Note concerning this MS, referring to (b) p. 60 as 'p. 60 in old MS'; (d) Short list of school books and other matter.
