Fragment A  comes from the Mac Aedagáin school at Dún Doighre (Duniry). Fragment B was written in Ard an Aifinn (Ardanaffrin) by Ó Deoráins. Fragment D is from the same manuscript as BL Egerton 88 and Copenhagen KB MS 261B  and was written by scribes of the Ó Duibhdabhoireann Law Tract school. The manuscript may have been in the possession of Tadhg Ó Rodaighe, Arthur Mahon, Charles O'Conor, and Count MacCarthy Reagh.It is unknown how the manuscript came to the Royal Irish Academy  See William O'Sullivan's discussion in Celtica 23, p.278.</dcterms:provenance><dcterms:provenance xml:lang="ga">Lámhscríbhinn cumaisc le 5 blúire. Fragment D is from the same manuscript as BL Egerton 88 and Copenhagen KB MS 261B and is known as the Book of Domnall Ó Duibhdabhoireann. Fragment B, along with BL Egerton 90 forms part of the book of Cairbre mac Domhnaill Uí Dheoradháin.
