Bound in blue half-rexine, cardboard sides covered in blue cloth; cloth partly loose on back cover. `medical / treatises' and `H. / 3.2.' in gold on upper and lower spine, respectively; `1321' typed on piece of paper affixed to base of spine and covered with cellulose tape. Four endpapers front and back, with third and fourth front, and first and second back, of slightly smaller dimensions; pastedowns, recto of first front endpaper and verso of fourth back endpaper marbled. `Bound Feb 1898' (in pencil) on verso of first front endpaper; `H. 3. 2. / (1321)' (in pencil) on recto of second front endpaper.
